Network Business Director - Radiology

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Works closely with the Network Department Chair to support fiscally responsible and high-quality business and clinical operations. Provides Medical Group administrative support for the Network Department Chair and physicians across the UVM Health Network. Collaborates with Medical Group Directors and Vice Presidents, Radiology leadership and staff, hospital CFOs, Revenue Cycle, Human Resources, IT, Finance, and others across the UVM Health Network. Manages professional contracts, salaries, and other services for the physicians. Responsible for the preparation and management of UVMHN professional Radiology and Larner College of Medicine (LCOM) finances and budgets, including external contracts for Radiology services, as well as oversight and administrative support for research, grants and education.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Health, Accounting, Economics, Finance or related field required. The ideal candidate will possess a Master's Degree in Business Administration or Health Care Administration or a related area.
EXPERIENCE:
Must have a minimum of 5-7 years of progressively responsible experience in a health care financial management setting, preferably in an academic physician practice.
