The Team:
The APMO team is a dynamic and motivated group within the Platts Technology and Innovation organization. Responsibilities and Impact:
The APMO Project Coordinator Intern will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the setup, updates, and management of Platts Technology tools, contributing to the efficiency of project management processes.
  • Collaborating with functional teams to gather and document requirements for upcoming tool/process changes, enhancing overall project outcomes.
  • Assisting in the creation of training documentation and ensuring accurate completion of relevant documentation.
  • Scheduling and facilitating meetings with technical resources and business unit partners, promoting effective communication and collaboration.
  • Participating in process development and training initiatives, gaining exposure to project management best practices.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement and contributing to proof of concept initiatives, fostering a culture of innovation.

Compensation/Benefits Information:
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $25to $30. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications.

In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or Operations, with an anticipated graduation date in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint, ADO, Word, Excel, Box, Wiki, and Visio.
  • Basic Excel data analysis experience.
  • Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Some knowledge of Agile methodology and project management methods.
  • Experience in a technical environment or with a technical organization is a plus.
  • Previous project management or project coordination experience is preferred.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills, with a focused attention to detail.
