Job Summary:
The Field Training Manager will use corporate training initiatives to steer the content of the training they conduct. This is a hands-on training position for the food/dining services departments that will split time between two hospital accounts in the Nashville area and will report to a TouchPoint Vice President. Schedule: mostly normal business hours Monday - Friday with occasional nights/weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customizes training documentation forms
- Prepares monthly reports of training activity and statistics
- Connects with other Training Coordinators, Corporate HR and Training staff
- Plans, coordinates, and carries out new-hire training, education of staff members and management trainees on both one-on-one and small group levels
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Food service management experience required, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Prior training manager experience is helpful, but not required
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and establish priorities
- Ability to maintain organization in a changing environment
- Exhibits initiative, responsibility, flexibility and leadership
