Senior Quality Engineering Manager

What is this role? As a Sr. Manager, Quality Engineering for Cirkul, you will be hands-on providing leadership and direction to the Quality Engineering Team. The ideal candidate will enjoy interfacing with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Key Suppliers to solve complex technical challenges.   What does an average day look like?

• Driving Results: Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback to team members to drive professional growth.
• Taking Ownership: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and departmental metrics to monitor and improve quality across all functions.
• Making Decisions: Lead, analysis and corrective action processes for quality issues, driving a culture of continuous improvement.
• Cultivating Relationships: Work collaboratively with other departments driving development, improvements, addressing quality-related issues, and implementing solutions.
• Instilling Trust: Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that values diversity and promotes innovation.
• Customer Focus: Implement principles and quality methodologies to drive efficiency and reduce defects.

 

What background should you have?

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years experience in quality engineering or related roles.
• Minimum 5 years in a leadership or management role.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Management or Quality Engineering Principles and methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
• Quality certifications a plus: ASQ, CQE, CQM.
• Ability to exercise professional judgment in identifying organization improvement.
• Ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams as a change agent, facilitator, coach and mentor.
