Position Details:
- Title: Senior Accountant
- Schedule: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, M-F, with some flexibility. *This position is ONSITE in an office setting, with 1 day remote after 90 days*
- Ideal Candidates: The ideal candidate will 7+ years of hands-on accounting experience, including month-end and year-end closing processes. Microsoft D365 experience.

Position Overview:
The Senior Accountant will participate in all aspects of our financial reporting cycle, including month close and preparation of consolidated financial statements development, maintenance and refinement of financial reporting policies, practices and procedures for the Company and its domestic and foreign subsidiaries. The role will also include collecting and analyzing data about product and company costs.
Essential Job Functions:
- Participate in the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Conduct monthly performance financial analysis including variance analysis, trend analysis, and profitability assessments to provide financial business insights and potential areas of improvement to assist in decision-making processes.
- Preparation of consolidated financial statements for the global organization, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting principles and reporting standards.
- Manage financial activities for multiple entities (in different currencies), ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and foreign subsidiaries to streamline financial processes, identify opportunities for process automation, and enhance efficiency and accuracy to meet changing business needs.
- Ensure annual review and tax compliance activities and assist in preparing tax filings and related documentation (annual engagement and tax filing with outside accountant).
- Prepare internal management reports, and other financial documents.
- Perform monthly reconciliation (Balance Sheet, P&L) and analysis. Research balance sheet items and income/expense fluctuations utilizing various systems and information sources.
- Assist in monitoring and controlling production costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead expenses. Identify cost-saving opportunities and work with cross-functional teams to implement cost reduction strategies.
- Assist in implementing inventory control processes to ensure accuracy in inventory valuation.
- Track Capital requests project’s progress and expenditures and account for and reconcile Fixed assets and depreciation.
- Participate in the development and implementation of financial systems to maintain accounting policies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness and ensuring consistency and adherence across different entities.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards, regulations, and industry best practices, and ensure their incorporation into global financial operations.
- Assist in managing compliance with regulatory requirements, improve and maintain effective internal financial control and risk management procedures to safeguard company assets.
- Play crucial role in implementing new financial reporting software, including ERP, CPM and Business Intelligence tools or upgrades for department improvement and efficiency when relevant.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and finance teams across different regions to facilitate knowledge sharing, best practices, and consistent financial practices.
- Perform additional duties/tasks as needed or requested by management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of seven (7) years of directly related, progressive experience.
- Understanding of consolidations.
- Manufacturing industry, including cost accounting experience is preferre
