This newly created role is key in evolving our Talent and Organizational Effectiveness (TOE) COE operating model, and advancing the talent, organizational and culture agenda in support of our Corporate Functions (Finance; Law, Franchise and Integrity; P&C; Risk) and Mastercard Strategic Growth. Reporting into the SVP, Talent Consultant for APEMEA, Americas, MSG, and Corporate Functions, this role will act as the strategic talent partner to the Finance, LFI, P&C, Risk and MSG Global PBPs and provide advisory support in the form of coaching and guidance to other PBPs in those Business Units.
In this role, you will:
• Shape TOE COE global products and solutions by providing BU perspectives; and drive adoption of the TOE COE scalable global products and solutions in alignment with / support of business priorities
• Lead the end-to-end execution of MA core people processes (i.e. performance management and development, talent/ succession planning)
• Build a robust and diverse (internal / external) succession pipeline for critical business roles in partnership with TA, and facilitate talent movement / brokering in support of executive hipo/key successors development and business needs
• Enhance organizational, leader and team effectiveness, and promote culture health and employee engagement by leading, supporting or advising on appropriate efforts
• Support key business organizational change and /or transformation efforts leveraging COE capabilities/ agile pool as needed
• Drive key DEI people initiatives across the regions/ BUs leveraging the global programming.
• Develops and executes a mechanism to track progress and drive leader accountability in support of advancing the functional talent management priorities (i.e. monthly talent meetings, reporting, etc)
• Provide key input into the learning needs assessment process – led by the Learning Academies-, act as point of contact for people leadership, executive development and DEI programming, and act as liaison for BU/Region for BU/Regional view of global learning plans/programming
• Partner with lead PBPs in identifying / driving synergies and shared programming across corporate functions
• Lead on BU specific, strategically important talent agenda items, working in partnership with global teams and PBP’s to execute as necessary
All About You:
• Functional Expertise and Global Perspectives: Robust track record of experience in driving talent solutions across complex, diverse and global client groups.
• Consultative Approach: Strong ability to diagnose problems, identify root causes, understand business context and propose practical solutions in a systemic and business-oriented way.
• Executive Presence and Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate (verbally and in writing) with impact, influence and credibility across all levels and with a global audience.
