Your Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our Data and AI Platform Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for the hands-on design, implementation, and support of data platform components, with a strong focus on test automation, data pipeline development, reusability, and cost optimization.

Your work:

You will work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to understand the technical vision, define best practices, and deliver high-quality solutions that drive business value. Your role will also involve a deep understanding of data governance to ensure compliance and best practices.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on Big Data and Cloud technologies.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and Java.
• Experience with Big Data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services (e.g., S3, Redshift, Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Snowflake).
• Expertise in data processing and storage technologies (e.g., NoSQL databases, data pipelines).
• Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., pytest, JUnit).
• Familiarity with cost optimization tools and techniques in cloud environments.
• Experience with test automation, data pipeline development, and cost optimization.
• Familiarity with data governance and compliance practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Passion for innovation and a commitment to continuous learning.
