Who You Are:
As the Director of Quality Assurance, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the quality standards of Galaxy. You will be responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance strategies, leading a team of QA professionals, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in product/service quality.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive quality assurance strategy to ensure the delivery of high-quality products/services in alignment with company standards and customer expectations.
- Lead and mentor a team of QA professionals, providing guidance, support, and expertise to foster a culture of quality excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, and operations, to integrate quality assurance processes into the product lifecycle.
- Establish and enforce quality metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and benchmarks to measure and improve the effectiveness of the QA processes.
- Conduct regular assessments of existing quality assurance practices, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices to enhance overall efficiency.
- Develop and maintain a robust testing framework, including automated testing tools, to ensure comprehensive coverage of product features and functionalities.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop and execute comprehensive test plans, ensuring thorough testing of software applications, systems, and processes.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in quality assurance, and incorporate relevant advancements into the company's QA processes.
- Act as a liaison with external quality assurance partners, vendors, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on the status of quality assurance initiatives, test results, and recommendations for improvement.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in [relevant field]; Master's degree preferred.
- 10 years of proven experience in quality assurance, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Experience in implementing and managing automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and leading high-performing QA teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different departments.
