What You'll Do As a Part-Time Front End Developer at Sozoroad, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining high-quality user interfaces across our digital platforms. Working closely with our Backend Software Developer, you’ll transform visual concepts and wireframes into responsive, accessible, and performance-optimized code. Your work will directly impact how users engage with our tools, services, and content.Responsibilities
- Develop responsive, accessible websites and web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular).
- Translate wireframes, mockups, and design specifications into clean, functional front-end code.
- Collaborate across teams to ensure visual consistency and alignment with brand guidelines.
- Integrate front-end components with backend APIs and services in coordination with the Backend Software Developer.
- Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Maintain and improve front-end architecture, reusable component libraries, and documentation.
- Implement front-end best practices in code structure, design responsiveness, and basic SEO.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and suggest improvements to development workflows and tools.
Requirements
- Display outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field is preferred but not required. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
- Adaptability to work within Eastern Standard Time (EST) for efficient collaboration.
