Job Summary:

The Manager, HR Data Analytics will lead a team responsible for delivering data-informed people insights across the organization, influencing key decisions related to our employees and the employee experience. This role combines leadership with deep analytical expertise to manage HR data collection, reporting, and analysis, while collaborating closely with organizational leaders and cross-functional teams. Success in this role requires a proven ability to lead teams, communicate complex findings clearly, and partner with business leaders to improve HR processes and strategies. We’re looking for someone with an inquisitive mindset, loves working in the details and implementing improvements, especially in a fast-paced, complex environment and industry. 

The role partners with Functional Teams to execute analytic plans in the following areas: 

  • Performance measures (Organizational, Functional, People)  
  • Efficiency and productivity measures (Organizational, Functional, People) 
  • Organizational health and culture measures 
  • Ad-hoc and special projects 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing, highly engaged team of analysts. 
  • Partner to define and execute the vision, strategy, and resourcing for the HR Data Analytics team by establishing goals, making clear prioritization decisions and communicating to stakeholders on progress towards goals.  
  • Champion the creation of HR data governance strategies and practices that ensure data is accurate, accessible, and used effectively for decision-making.  
  • Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and security of HR data, including establishing and managing data governance policies, processes, and best practices for HR systems and analytics. 
  • Lead and support complex projects and process improvements to represent HR Data needs across the organization. 
  • Present complex data insights in a clear and concise manner to HR leadership, senior management, and other stakeholders. 
  • Provide training and guidance on the use of HR analytics tools and data interpretation across the HR team.

  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical issues to non-technical audiences. 
  • Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and manage stakeholder expectations effectively. 
  • Strong consultative and customer relations skills, engaging and communicating at all levels of the organization. 
  • Extensive experience in various HR modules with knowledge about HR processes, policies, and compliances governing people data. 
  • Excellent knowledge and experience with Workday modules and related data elements. 
  • Builds positive, productive, and trusting partnerships and enjoys collaboration across functions and teams. 
  • Able to grow with the company and engage in new projects and assignments. 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. 
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in HR and/or HR Analytics with advanced understanding of people data; At least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role 
  • 5+ years of Experience with HR systems, Workday HCM, Workday Report Writing, ADP 
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel, BI or other data visualization tools
