🏥 About the Role
As a Surgical Technologist, you’ll be an essential part of the surgical team—preparing instruments and equipment, maintaining a sterile environment, and anticipating the surgeon’s needs in real time. You'll scrub in on a wide range of procedures, from routine to complex, and bring a calm, confident presence to the operating room.
This role is hands-on, fast-moving, and deeply rewarding.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
Gather, prep, and maintain surgical instruments and supplies
Uphold strict adherence to surgical asepsis and infection control practices
Anticipate and respond to the surgeon’s needs during procedures
Stay alert to patient condition changes and adapt quickly
Ensure every patient encounter is guided by safety, precision, and compassion
✅ What You’ll Need
High School Diploma or GED
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential (CAAHEP-accredited)
Current BLS certification (must be maintained)
Physical ability to:
Stand for extended periods
Wear 10 lb. lead aprons during imaging procedures
Lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull 125 lbs.
Frequently lift 1–25 lb. sterile trays throughout the day
Strong communication and documentation skills
Adaptability in high-pressure, rapidly changing surgical environments
Excellent time management and the ability to work independently
