Work Shift: 12am-8:30am Tuesday - Saturday with alternating Sundays.
The Target Pay for this position is $22.74 an hour. At Antech, pay decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, education, training and budget.
Job Purpose/Overview
The Serology Lab Technician is responsible for testing blood and other samples.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Sets up and runs lab tests.
Reads and releases test results.
Proficient in the use and maintenance of the IFA microscope.
Responsible for completing the Coggins Federal forms as required by the USDA.
Assist with training.
Checks supply inventory.
Exercises judgment in evaluating and reporting results.
Performs equipment maintenance activities.
Consult with senior peers on non-complex tasks to learn through experience.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required, 2- or 4-year degree in science-related field preferred.
Prior lab experience referred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Laboratory skills, with experience setting up, running, and reading lab tests and operating lab instruments.
