Who are we?

FalconX is a pioneering team of operators, investors, and builders committed to revolutionizing institutional access to the crypto markets. Operating at the intersection of traditional finance and

  • Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code.
  • Break down complex work for junior engineers, review designs, and provide technical mentorship.
  • Continuously identify technical debt and implement improvements with long-term maintainability in mind.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years in Python or Go.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, MySQL, Redis, Kafka/SQS, and Kubernetes, with an understanding of trade-offs across technologies.
  • Strong grasp of systems fundamentals: concurrency, multithreading, and multiprocessing.
  • Experience building and operating high-scale, high-availability systems.
  • Clear written and verbal communication around technical design and trade-offs.
  • Comfort working in a fast, iterative development environment.

Bonus Points

  • Knowledge of derivatives products: options, exotic options, futures, perpetual swaps, structured products.
