About the role

Work Flexibility: Onsite

What you will do:

As the Production & Logistics Material Handler, you will perform a variety of moderate to complex administrative / physical tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of custom medical device implant materials, parts, supplies and equipment.

  • Unpack and check goods against purchase orders or invoices
  • Examine, stock, or distribute goods in inventory or other areas
  • Maintain records of received goods on the computer, alerting appropriate personnel to inspect unsatisfactory items when necessary
  • Work from engineering drawings and/or follow documented assembly/ packaging instructions
  • Maintain records of items shipped, and comply with documentation and record keeping procedures
  • Prepare goods for final shipment and/or production assembly. Understand internal shipment processes
  • Enter information into the inventory management system
  • Maintain and manage instrument set inventory and distribution
  • Make local pick-ups and deliveries as needed by the business
  • Lift and move heavy items; may operate a forklift in future (training would be provided, if needed)

What you need:

Required

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Two (2) years’ relevant work experience
  • A valid driver's license
  • Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and /or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects

Preferred

  • Experience in shipping, logistics, materials, operating material handling equipment (hand truck, scales, label maker, PC, etc.)
