Nextens is part of Lexis Nexis Risk Solutions (LNRS) and operates as an independent unit. Our close-knit, enthusiastic team of around 60 colleagues works every day to develop the full Nextens product suite. 
 

Your Role 

You’ll take ownership of complex technical areas, guide architectural decisions, and collaborate across teams. You love solving complex problems, and you take pride in building software that is accurate, well-structured, and future-proof. What you’ll do: 

• Develop calculation algorithms to ensure flawless tax processing. 
• Work with complex fiscal rules: from understanding and refining regulations to implementing robust solutions. 
• Create and integrate submission messages for tax filings, ensuring compliance with relevant laws. 
• Build reports and calculations that give customers clear, actionable insights. 
• Collaborate closely with domain experts to optimize tax returns and create efficient, scalable systems. 

This is a role where deep technical expertise is essential. You’ll think critically, test thoroughly, and collaborate closely to deliver solutions that can be trusted. 

What You Bring 

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or relevant experience. 
• 6+ years of software development experience, including .NET Core and Azure. 
• Fluency in Dutch and a good command of English. 
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems systematically. 
• A collaborative mindset—someone who enjoys working with others to find practical solutions.
