Senior Audio Visual Technician - Full-Time - Days - Columbia 

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Audio/Visual Technician to join our AV collaborations team to support and enhance the daily AV operations within our healthcare organization. This role is responsible for managing high-profile events, providing AV support across multiple campuses, troubleshooting complex AV issues, along with day-to-day operations tasks. The ideal candidate possesses advanced technical expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

This position will be based out of NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia at 168th Street. Hours will be from 7:30am-4:00pm.

Preferred Criteria

• 4+ years of experience in AV support, event production, or a similar role
• Advanced knowledge or integrated AV systems (Cisco, Crestron, Extron, Shure, Biamp, etc.)
• Experience managing AV infrastructure in a corporate or healthcare environment
• Industry certifications (Cisco, Crestron, Extron, Shure, etc. certifications preferred)
• Knowledge of broadcasting, live streaming, and post-production workflows
• CTS (Certified Technology Specialist)
• Cisco CCNP Collaboration Certification

Required Criteria

• ITIL Certification
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Advanced expertise in PC, Mac, and network troubleshooting
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Zoom, and AV conferencing platforms
• Must be punctual and dedicated to schedule commitments
• Excellent communication (oral and written), customer service, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a dynamic healthcare environment
