About The Role
We are seeking a skilled IT Security and Systems Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various aspects of our IT infrastructure, with a primary focus on technical support, cybersecurity, device management, access control, and vendor relationship
Key Responsibilities
1. Employee Technical Support:
- Provide timely and proficient ad hoc technical support to employees, resolving inquiries related to technology issues, including software, hardware, network connectivity, tools and systems.
- Assist with technical support for conference room and meetings/conferences as needed
2. Cybersecurity and Phishing Prevention:
- Implement and manage robust cybersecurity measures to protect company assets from external threats, including phishing attacks and malware.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and address potential weaknesses in our systems.
3. Single Sign-On (SSO) and Provisioning/Deprovisioning:
- Administer and maintain SSO solutions to streamline user authentication processes across various platforms and applications.
- Handle user provisioning and deprovisioning efficiently to ensure access control and data security.
4. Device Management with JAMF and Hexnode:
- Oversee the management of company devices (laptops, mobile devices, etc.) using JAMF and Hexnode, ensuring compliance with company policies and security standards.
- Deploy software updates, patches, and security configurations to devices as needed.
5. Access Control:
- Manage access control systems and protocols to regulate user access to sensitive information and resources.
- Implement and enforce access control policies to safeguard company data.
6. Zoom Rooms Management:
- Maintain and support Zoom Rooms infrastructure, including setup, configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure seamless integration of Zoom Rooms with other IT systems.
7. Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate records of company-owned equipment, including laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Coordinate procurement and asset tracking processes to ensure efficient inventory management.
8. Office Dashboards:
- Maintain office dashboards tailored to the specific needs of different departments, providing real-time insights into relevant metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
9. Vanta and SOC2 Compliance:
- Work closely with internal teams and external auditors to achieve and maintain Vanta and SOC2 compliance.
- Implement necessary controls and procedures to address compliance requirements effectively.
10. Preparing Laptops for New Employees:
- Prepare and configure laptops for new employees, ensuring they have the necessary software, security settings, and access permissions.
- Provide training and support to new employees on IT policies and procedures.
Vendor Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with vendors, including internet providers and other IT service providers.
- Negotiate contracts, oversee service agreements, and resolve any issues or escalations with vendors in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT security, systems administration, and network management.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in device management platforms such as JAMF and Hexnode.
- Demonstrated experience in administering and configuring Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions such as Okta, Rippling, and Google, including user provisioning, authentication policies, and integration with various applications a
