Dentsply Sirona, Sarasota, FL is seeking a Quality Control Technician to join our team.

This position is responsibel for ensuring compliance of product being manufactured through product evaluation, testing and evaluation of production documentation for Device History Records (DHRs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs receiving, in-process and/or final inspection and testing activities for both distributed and manufactured products as required to ensure product quality.
- Uses basic testing equipment such as calipers, microscopes, digital scales, optical comparators, etc.
- Performs quality related software transactions in applicable ERP or other software applications.
- Performs other random quality inspection and testing activities as needed.
- Ensures all documents are completed fully and accurately and appropriately filed for tracking purposes.
- Supports investigation and determination of the source of defective products, as required.
- Communicates quality related problems to operations and quality supervision, and other necessary parties.
- Assists in the investigation of non-conformance events, as needed.

- Performs other duties as needed.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED preferred, or, equivalent work experience
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
- Basic computer skills required, mainly for data entry. Ability to use Microsoft Office programs as applicable.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
- Previous QC/QA experience in medical device or similar industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with sampling plans (ANSI, AQL, etc.) is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced env
