Clean Air: Rotational Business Intern - Winter 2024

This position will be rotating throughout several areas of the business to assist with technical support, projects and processes, as well as allowing a cross-functional experience in manufacturing. Areas of focus will be in: Continuous Improvement, Environmental Health & Safety, and Quality Engineering. Tasks included in this rotational position may include:
Quality:
- Work on supplier issues via reports and returns
- Assist quality engineers with PPAP documentation including generation of production and data sheets
- Standardizing Poka Yoke processes with engineering techs
- Creation/Review of Job Element Sheets
Continuous Improvement:
- Conducting time studies, reviewing material flow, and reviewing/creating/updating standardized work
- Data analysis of scrap, productivity, and MRO
- Review and creation of cell layouts and designs
Environmental Health & Safety:
- Safety Data Sheet updates
- Audits: Eyewash, safety shower, storm water, PIV License Review
- Assist in implementing standardized learning management system
- Safety action projects & data entry
Required Skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced/dynamic environment
- Able to work independently as well as in a team setting
- Strong analytical skills and motivation
- Excellent verbal, writing, and presentation skills
Required Experience
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or other aligned field
This role is highly flexible and may work around class schedules for a minimum of 20 hours a week. Expected length of the role is 6 months, and may be extended into specific focus areas based on need.
