Due to expanding requirements and continued success, we are looking for Master/Senior data analysts to expand our Financial Crime related Data team within FCIIA.</span></span></p>

<p><span><span>This is a role within the Financial Crime Investigation, Intelligence & Analytics (FCIIA) unit in Group Financial Crime Prevention (GFCP).</span></span></p>
<p><span><span> </span></span></p>
<p><span><span><b>What you’ll be doing:</b></span></span></p>
<ul>
<li><span><span>Producing standardised data focused requirements to be implemented by our IT partners.</span></span></li>
<li><span><span>Analysing datasets to validate data sources are ingested as per specification.</span></span></li>
<li><span><span>Identifying complex undocumented relationships across disparate data sources.</span></span></li>
<li><span><span>Implementing complex data solutions to facilitate simplified down-stream consumption.</span></span></li>
<li><span><span>Integrating with large-scale change programmes both upstream and downstream.</span></span></li>
<li><span><span>Documenting data standards, including definitions, business rules and data quality controls.</span></span></li>
<li><span><span>Drinking coffee – (not strictly essential, tea and water are both acceptable alternatives).</span></span></li>
<li><span><span>Measuring compliance with the data standards and defined data quality targets.</span></span></li>
<li><span><span>Liaising with Data Owners, architects and analysts to enhance our data offering.</span></span></li>
<li><span><span>Assisting with regulatory focused programmes</span></span></li>
</ul>

You can analyse it to answer queries, but also understand where potential limitations exist and can creatively resolve them in either a tactical or strategic manner, as required. <span><span><b>Your experience and background: </b></span></span></p>
<ul>
<li><span><span>Experience in the payment domain, e.g. SWIFT MT/MX or ISO20022 message formatting and usage </span></span></li>
<li><span><span>+5 years of experience within data focused role</span></span></li>
<li><span><span>Good hands-on level of experience using Excel, SQL, Hadoop, VBA, R and Python etc.</span></span></li>
<li><span><span>Academic degree in quantitative subject e.g. Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance</span></span></li>
