Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is one of the fastest growing businesses within Oracle.  In OCI Finance, members of the Workload Health team are responsible for all aspects of cloud infrastructure financial planning, and modeling for a specific product family within the broader OCI ecosystem. We are a partner and trusted strategic adviser to the OCI Leadership team, advising on optimizing business economics while rapidly scaling.

In this role, you will be part of the IaaS Workload Health team leading Central Products & FP&A. The IaaS Workload Health team advises OCI Product and Engineering Organizations (Compute, Storage, & Virtual Networking) with end-to-end P&L ownership. Team members must be able to understand both the big picture and underlying details with the ability to lead product specific projects. We are looking for an enthusiastic finance analyst with a data driven mentality, modeling capabilities and strong interpersonal skills.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Central FP&A and Product lead for the IaaS Business Portfolio.

End to end P&L ownership of Central IaaS Product P&Ls including Service Enclave, OCVS VMWare. 

Develop and refine financial business models, with an emphasis on product level actionable insights including centralized gross margin bridging, and fully burdened cost modeling. 

Support Central Rhythm of Business activities (e.g., planning, and budgeting cycles) in line with corporate and business requirements.

Drive cost efficiencies across the organization, with data insight and business partnership with the IaaS leadership team.

Support key gross margin reporting and work streams to provide financial health reporting and important metrics for the IaaS Portfolio.

Maintain, enhance, automate, optimize, and streamline reporting within the entire IaaS portfolio.

 

 

 

 

PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 2-5 years finance experience. MBA a plus.
• Strong finance savvy and analytical skills.
• Ability to multitask with outstanding attention to detail.
• Consistent record of high performance and driving improvements within business environment.
• Experience with financial systems, core business processes.
• Excellent inter-personal communication skills and a self-starter mentality.
