Description

Boone Memorial Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our inpatient nursing team full-time. Our 25-bed inpatient hospital and network of clinics serve Boone County and the surrounding areas. Preferred Qualifications

  • Current WV Registered Nursing license

  • BLS certification

  • ACLS and PALS certifications (or willingness to obtain – training provided)

  • Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-based environment

  • Dedication to providing safe, compassionate, and effective patient care

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered nursing care on the inpatient floor

  • Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions accurately and promptly

  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by providers

  • Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans

  • Educate patients and families on treatments, discharge plans, and ongoing care needs

  • Maintain compliance with policies, regulations, and professional nursing standards

Physical demands

 

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • May require prolonged periods of standing, walking, moving, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, squatting, grasping and arm-hand coordination on a continuous basis.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
