Do you love to cook? Do you love children? The Goddard School is looking for you! A Cook at The Goddard School is responsible for any food management the franchisee delegates. The food handler must have a good attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

A Cook must meet the following qualifications:

• the ability to prepare food
• the ability to communicate effectively with school personnel, children, and parents.
• Servsafe training

Responsibilities

The Cook is responsible for the following:

• Managing the food budget.
• Ensuring the safe handling and preparation of all foods.
• Preparing menus that include healthy lunches and snacks.
• Preparing breakfast, lunch, and snack per day for 185 children
• Ensuring that the menus are always in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Maintaining appropriate portion sizes.
• Ordering food and paper products.

Compensation: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
