About the role

WWC Federal is seeking a Senior DOD Financial Analyst for a contract within the Department of Defense (DoD) at USTRANSCOM in support of Business Process Reengineering (BPR) for the Joint Transportation Management System (JTMS).

Duties and Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Analyze logistics and financial process maps across TRANSCOM Lines of Operations.
  • Write responses to Government Financial Pain Points, Opportunities, and Notes that address both As-Is and To-Be environments.
  • Analyze Courses of Action (COAs) for the JTMS Payment Process and perform Cost Benefit analyses for different COAs
  • Work closely with both the WWC Federal Finance Team and the rest of the Team to complete deliverables and provide status updates
  • Communicate with JTMS Government Officials to create detailed solutions for the To-Be financial design for the JTMS ERP system that addresses the financial aspects and audibility of USTRANSCOM Transportation.
  • Brief officials on financial trends and issues, including DTR and FMR regulations, that affect their branches of government.
  • Facilitate process improvement efforts.
  • Generate papers and documents.
  • Assist in developing, analyzing, and promoting the customer’s needs and issues, including the responsiveness of required deliverables.
  • Support and maintain audit strategy for USTRANSCOM To Be processes.
  • Develop, lead, and conduct workshops, benchmarking, and surveys.
  • Perform initial risk assessment for each end-to-end business process and related IT environment to create an inventory of all key controls, related risks and all gaps that may exist.
  • Review current identified Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) for all internally identified control gaps and NFRs identified by the external auditor from recent audit findings and how those can/will be resolved in the To Be process.

Expected salary range: $90,000-140,000

Work Environment:

  • Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield, large equipment).
  • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.

Travel:

  • 0-10% / Minimal travel.
