Caregiver/Driver and Household Manager - Westport, CT

CompassCare is seeking a professional Caregiver/Driver and Household Manager to provide exceptional home care and concierge services for one of our wonderful clients located in Westport, CT. Our caregivers build a partnership in care that allows our clients to live an active and engaged lifestyle.

• Full-time, part-time
• Hourly - Day and Overnight shifts available
• Hourly rate starting at $24 (higher rate for more complex cases)
• Overtime and holiday pay applies.

Requirements:

• Authorized to work in the US
• Fully vaccinated for COVID-19
• CNA Certification 
• CPR Certification 
• Clean driving record
• Experience in Home Care (One-On-One care) at least one year
• Proven experience as a household manager & assistant
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Well-spoken, with strong communication skills and excellent client service skills
• Kind, Optimistic, Curious, Empathetic, Dependable and professional

What Our Caregivers Do:

The care that we provide starts with a customized care plan that has been created to meet the specific needs of the client. Our caregivers build a strong relationship with the client to learn how to go above and beyond, providing care well beyond the care plan that has been provided.

Our caregivers work in partnership with the CompassCare Client Team and Office Staff to provide the best possible care for each client.

Responsibilities:

• Provide concierge level care, including enrichment activities, outings, and more
• Managing the household schedules and calendars
• Ensure that the household runs smoothly and efficiently, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness, organization and comfort for the client.
• Handling household bills and administrative duties
• Coordinating appointments for personal and health needs
• Running errands on behalf of the client and performing necessary task
• Shopping for food, supplies, and other requested items
• Drive or accompany clients to scheduled appointments
• Assisting clients with all necessary needs with activities of daily routine
• Provide companionship and engagement
• Provide light housekeeping & meal preparation
• Follow a detailed care plan
• Complete reporting to be shared with the Care Team
• Assist with personal care
