As a Software Engineer II, you’ll be a key member of the team responsible for shipping core reporting experiences in EVE. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and frontend/backend engineers to deliver high-quality features that scale to hundreds of thousands of users. We're looking for engineers who enjoy solving complex frontend challenges, building intuitive, performant, and accessible experiences, and architecting scalable React (and Angular) components.

This position can be based out of Redmond, WA or Mountain View, CA offices and supports 50% on-site work and 50% work from home. Relocation assistance within the United States is available for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain frontend features using modern React, Angular, TypeScript, Node, Playwright, and related technologies (including: Contribute to the migration of existing Angular-based features into a scalable React architecture, Implement and maintain complex state management systems to support highly interactive applications, scenarios, and integrations, Design and develop accessible UI components that meet or exceed WCAG standards.).
  • Bring your experience to a vibrant team through design review, code review and mentoring while helping the team build an inclusive culture where everyone can do their best work.
  • Work with team members within and outside of the team to disambiguate complex problems.
  • Take ownership of component design decisions working with product owners and dependencies.
  • Develop and release AI features for the Viva Product Suite.
  • Define and build systems and strategies to ensure quality, performance, simplicity, durability, scalability, and maintainability.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of professional experience building, delivering, and maintaining web applications or services (Azure or comparable cloud).

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

 

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
