About the Role
You will lead the P&C Re Client Review team, within In-Force Management, working across many disciplines, driving the alignment of the P&C Re audit strategy, including Underwriting, Claims and Transactional reviews, taking audit action to mitigate risk (protecting the bottom line), and providing insights for profitable growth.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Leading a Global team of professionals, driving the alignment of the P&C Re audit strategy, including Underwriting, Claims and Transactional reviews to protect our bottom line and enable profitable growth
- You will inspire your team, developing talent, and building our performance culture, working to provide clear direction on what success looks like
- Lead and manage the audit planning and execution, identifying and actioning insights to steer underwriting within the P&C Re Market Units, Product Lines and Portfolios, ensuring the e2e audit process works effectively.
- Ensure utilization of all available tools, enabling effective audits to achieve the optimum output
- Engage with clients directly leveraging contacts to generate opportunities
About the Team
This role is part of the P&C Re In-force Management Leadership Team within Operations, a global unit of around 50 professionals who actively manage the in-force liabilities. We closely collaborate with all P&C Re and Group functions with international and multi-cultural teams, all with a passion to meet client expectations and optimize Swiss Re performance.
About You
You are self-motivated, able to overcome obstacles, challenges, navigate ambiguity and take unpopular stands when necessary. You bring a strategic vision and agility with the ability to think and anticipate future consequences and trends and incorporate them into a plan with a relentless focus on execution.
Key requirements:
- Minimum work experience in the (Re)Insurance industry of 10 years with audit experience
- Strategic mindset ensuring the audit plan is fully aligned with the Market Unit and Portfolio strategies.
- Strong collaboration including at a senior management level
- A leader of people able to inspire and engage a diverse team, delegating authority whilst collaborating across teams/functions
- An authentic communicator able to present complex information both to technical and non-technical audiences confidently, simply and concisely
For Armonk, NY the estimated base salary range for this position is $200,000 to $318,000. The specific salary offered for this or any given role will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to job location, scope of role, qualifications, complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent, experience, education, and employer budget.
