Rate: $18.62/HR

Available Schedule: Swing Shift (Mon - Fri)

• Mon: 2:30PM - 6:30PM 
• Tues - Fri: 2:30PM - 11PM

What Your Day May Look Like:

• Greet client employee’s, customer’s, vendor’s, and aid as needed. 
• Conduct internal patrol when needed to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, security violations, blocked ingress and egress, mechanical problems, unauthorized persons, inspects grounds using appropriate equipment and protective gear. 
• Monitor entrance/exits, and ask customer’s for receipts as needed. 
• Complete daily activity (DAR), incident reports and logs via client system. 
• Provide an atmosphere in which all client employees, customer’s, client, and management know their needs are being met. 
• Present a good image to the client, client employees and customer’s. 
• Operates in a calm manner and directs persons who cause disruption to leave property. 
• Protects evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations; sets up barriers and signage, and provides direction or information to others. 
• Observes and reports incidents or suspicious activity to Asset Protection, Company Management, or public safety authorities as appropriate for the circumstances and/or as required by the site. 
• Acts to ensure that all property removal is conducted within appropriate policy requirements and in accord with client standards. 
• Carries out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Position Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older. 
• High School Diploma or GED Required. 
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
• Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift. 
• Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain vigilant throughout shift. 
• Understands the nature of customer service and interactions with the public.
• Must have Swing and Grave shift availability.
• Must be reliable, accountable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus. 
• Must be able to interact with and greet customer, or client employees in a positive manner, while maintaining excellent customer service.
• Intermediate computer/technology skills needed to ensure completion of daily activity reports, and logs via handheld devices, and reporting alarms.
• Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills to assist customer, vendors, public, Asset Protection, and Office Management.
• Must be open to communication and feedback from client, and Office Management. 
• Must be able to adhere to 15 minute, and lunch breaks.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies, with rapid and effective judgment, and use appropriate escalation and force if required.
• Must be able to work in a team environment to ensure site/organizational goals are achieved daily.
• Must be able to remain organized and professional.
• Must be able to learn and adhere to security operations.
