This position will report to the Head of Seasoned Loan Trading and is based in the Firm’s New York City office.</p> <p><strong><u>Key Responsibilities</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Analyze and execute investment opportunities into residential credit strategies across products</li> <li>Evaluate leverage opportunities to optimize fund returns</li> <li>Oversee transactions as they progress through the typical trade life cycle</li> <li>Manage daily risk positions and review asset performance</li> <li>Ownership of asset valuation and profit and loss analysis</li> <li>Work closely with external counterparties to execute transactions</li> <li>Collaborate with business development and senior leadership to secure prospective fund investors</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Requirements</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Undergraduate degree; progress towards CFA designation a plus</li> <li>Minimum 4 - 7 years of relevant experience</li> <li>Prior experience in a trading and/or underwriting role</li> <li>Strong analytics and experience with reporting and integrating various models and data</li> <li>Intermediate to advanced technical skills including MS Excel</li> <li>Ability to articulate complex strategies and concepts to a wide audience with varying degrees of product knowledge</li> <li>Comfort communicating with senior leadership and providing direction to senior support staff</li> <li>Ability to function as a project leader, attention to
