JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for driving a product roadmap that leverages advanced analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to enhance the customer experience. You will have the responsibility of delivering innovation on behalf of our customers/stakeholders and advocating for their needs throughout design, build, and launch. This position has a high level of visibility, so you will need to be able to communicate clearly and compellingly at all levels of the company. Additionally, you will be responsible for measuring business impact by analyzing metrics, budget, and return on investment. You will work closely with engineering and science teams in bringing Livingston’s vision to reality.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define and prioritize product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria based on customer and business needs, data, and feedback for high impact products that drive value to our customers and deliver accurate and relevant insights
  • Act as liaison between internal and external engineering, data science, and analytics teams to execute product roadmaps and deliver products within a specified timeline
  • Conduct POCs to assess the technical feasibility of solutions designed in collaboration with organizational leaders and stakeholders while monitoring and measuring customer value
  • Partner with AA&I leadership team to maintain and develop product backlog ensuring that ideas align to strategic goals and meet gating requirements
  • Conduct user research, market analysis, and competitive benchmarking to validate hypotheses and inform product decisions
  • Continuously absorb and share knowledge about the latest product and scientific developments relevant to ML/AI space
  • Influence the team’s technical strategy by making insightful contributions to the team’s priorities, approach and planning while introducing tools and practices that streamline the work of the team and benefit the organization
  • Develop channel for communicating product status and analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, effectively presenting algorithms, results, and analytical insights

 

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  • Business understanding of advanced statistics and modern machine learning techniques (LLMs, decision trees, forests, boosted ensembles, neural networks, deep learning, graph analytics)
  • Proficiency in core data science principles like regularization, optimization algorithms, and data preprocessing
  • Strong communication skills - ability to identify and communicate opportunities, challenges, risks, and change requirements in a timely and responsive manner and report on all aspects of development across the organization (cross-departmental as well as C Suite)

WORK EXPERIENCE – MINIMUM REQUIRED

5 years of related experience

EDUCATION

Preferred: Masters Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Statistics
