Senior Software Engineer (GoLang/React/Python)

Who We're Looking For

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer who can operate confidently across the full stack in a high-stakes, user-facing environment. The ideal candidate has experience working within enterprise-scale systems managing large volumes of concurrent users. You are someone who understands the weight of production changes and can context-switch fluidly between backend services and frontend issues as business needs arise.

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver work in vertical slices, owning features from start to finish rather than working in siloed layers.
• Build and maintain features for accounts and commerce platforms, supporting login, transactions, and game integrations.
• Respond to time-sensitive production issues, including login outages, transaction bugs, and critical issues with legal ramifications.
• Partner with external game studios and communicate clearly with PMs regarding timelines, scope, and rollout rationale.
• Contribute actively to refinement sessions, PI Planning, and standard sprint ceremonies.
• Effectively shift between Go backend services and React frontend debugging (e.g., login modals or dev deploys) throughout the day.

 Some Must-Haves:

• GoLang: Expertise in backend services development.
• React (JS/TS): Strong frontend development skills across web surfaces.
• Python: Proficiency in scripting and tooling.
• Solid experience with SQL and AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and deployment.
• While you may have a primary focus, you must be genuinely capable across both frontend and backend to handle the pace of production issues.
• Good judgment when making production changes that carry real-world consequences.

A Plus:

• Prior experience working in enterprise-scale systems handling high volumes of concurrent users across multiple platforms and products.

Other Information

The work hours will be approximately 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, depending on workload, with the occasional late night when a tight deadline calls for it. We work for security-conscious clients, thus background checks will be required.
