What you’ll do:

 

As a Principal AI Designer, you will be at the forefront of shaping AI-driven user experiences across the SAP product portfolio. You will lead strategic design initiatives that merge advanced AI technology with human-centered design, crafting intuitive and transformative interactions for enterprise users. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will create AI centric experiences and strategies that redefine traditional UX boundaries, ensuring our solutions are both innovative and accessible.

Your expertise in creating scalable, human-centric design solutions enables you to bridge the gap between design and advanced technology. Expectations and tasks

 

• Lead the conceptualization and design of AI-driven user experiences
• Develop and refine AI-enhanced experiences, ensuring alignment with human-centered design principles and feasibility
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including research, engineering, product management, and drive AI design initiatives from concept to launch
• Define and articulate the vision, scope, and strategy for integrating AI into user interfaces, ensuring consistency and usability across products
• Mentor and guide design teams on AI design best practices, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
• Utilize data analytics and user research to validate AI design decisions and iteratively improve product experiences
• Present and defend your design rationale to key stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment with business objectives

 

About You

 

• 10+ years of experience in UX, product design, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on AI-infused design solutions
• A robust portfolio demonstrating your expertise in creating innovative, user-centered AI designs that solve complex problems
• Extensive experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including AI, engineering, and product management
• Deep understanding of AI technologies and their impact on user experience
• Proven ability to balance strategic vision with practical design execution in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex AI concepts to diverse audiences
• Proficiency in prototyping tools and design methodologies, with a keen eye for detail and usability
