Purpose:

The Associate Director, Global Medical Affairs Immunology Scientific Engagement will support the planning, coordination, and execution of Global Medical Affairs scientific engagement activities across key Immunology congresses and scientific meetings. This role will partner closely with Global Medical Affairs Leaders (GMALs), Scientific Engagement Leads (SELs), regional medical affairs teams, R&D, market access, and commercial partners to ensure effective and consistent external stakeholder engagement.

The Associate Director, Global Medical Affairs Immunology Scientific Engagement will help drive the end-to-end execution of congress planning activities, facilitate cross-functional collaboration, coordinate scientific exchange initiatives, and support the development of communication tools and engagement strategies that enhance the organization's scientific presence and impact. This position requires strong project management skills, exceptional collaboration capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic global environment.

You will be responsible for

Congress Planning & Execution:

  • Support the development and execution of Global Medical Affairs congress plans across priority Immunology congresses.

  • Coordinate congress planning activities across global, regional, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on objectives, timelines, and deliverables.

  • Manage congress planning tools, trackers, timelines, and governance processes to support successful execution.

  • Support onsite congress activities, including scientific engagement logistics, stakeholder coordination, and issue resolution.

  • Collaborate with meeting planning and external vendors to support congress-related activities.

Scientific Engagement Coordination:

  • Coordinate healthcare professional (HCP) scientific engagement activities in partnership with Medical Affairs, R&D, and regional teams.

  • Support development and maintenance of stakeholder engagement plans for priority disease areas and congresses.

  • Assist with identification and tracking of key external medical and scientific stakeholders and organizations.

  • Facilitate communication and information sharing across regions to improve visibility and consistency of external engagement activities.
