About the role

A Staff Scientist position is available at the Wistar Institute to support the Genome Regulation and Cell Signaling Program which focuses on the chromatin basis of gene regulation in cancer and virology models. Candidates with a strong interest in gene regulation, chromatin architecture, and epigenetic mechanisms are encouraged to apply. Candidates must have significant expertise in the analysis of genomic datasets including RNA-seq, ChIP-seq, single cell RNA-seq, and Hi-C and should have the ability to adopt and develop new analysis pipelines.

Candidates should have a PhD (or equivalent) degree and a minimum of 3 years of post-doctoral experience and demonstrate a track record of first author as well as collaborative publications. Interested individuals should apply by submitting a CV including a list of publications and manuscripts in preparation. A one-page cover letter detailing the reason for their scientific interest in the lab and career goals.
