Pulmonary Medicine Associates (PMA) has been treating patients in the greater Sacramento area since 1973 and is a unique and exciting place to work, with specialties that include critical care, infectious disease, palliative care, pulmonology, pediatric pulmonology, sleep medicine, and travel medicine. We are a busy practice with over 70 providers and 2 outpatient clinic locations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for the medical group.

- Oversee the development and implementation of business strategies to enhance operational efficiency and patient care.

- Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement among staff and stakeholders.

- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

- Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, staff, patients, and community partners.

- Lead initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and quality of care.

- Represent the organization in professional and community settings.

- Serves as an active participant on select committees  as determined by the Board of Directors.

Requirements


-  Bachelor's degree;  Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration or Business Administration preferred.

- 10 + years in a senior leadership role within a healthcare setting preferred.

- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, policies, and best practices.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.

- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
