Position overview:

 

The Business Analyst - P2D role serves to mature and grow global supply chain planning business and technology capabilities through the continuous improvement and alignment of end-to-end business processes, data and systems, using detailed business analysis, process and data mapping, capability assessments, to identify opportunities and solutions. This role will be responsible for successful delivery of global process and technology solutions and the functional maintenance of enabling capabilities in the Plan Supply Chain (PSC) capability area, which includes Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), demand planning, supply planning, inventory planning, material requirements planning (MRP) and distribution requirements planning (DRP).

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

• Participating in production support and enhancement activities and acting as a liaison with business process owners to validate requirements for changes to processes and recommending business and technology capability-related best practices
• Managing business process mapping, process re-engineering and gap analysis, recommending opportunities for streamlining, consolidating, standardizing and optimizing global supply chain planning processes
• Participating in user sessions for requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, configuration, unit testing, and UAT
• Acting as a functional subject matter expert of the business process for business capability areas and creating Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) for the development of reports, forms, configurations, interfaces, and enhancements for enabling applications
• Managing and coordinating changes and unit and regression testing with integration partners
• Collaborating with other functional and technical teams on business needs, information, applications, and long term plans while helping to ensure integration with strategic plans.
• Generating test scenarios and scripts, performing unit testing, and coordinating user acceptance testing to resolve and close defects
• Developing work instructions and job aids for end user training
• Providing application expertise and supporting strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity, and delivering process efficiencies
• Working independently while managing multiple priorities in a global environment and interacting with and influencing business partners at all levels
• Supporting the development of standardized/centralized analytical reporting

 

What are we looking for?

 

• Broad training in a related field usually acquired through college
• Job related experience for minimum 5 years in field of supply chain or similar working environment 
• Proficiency writing functional requirements specifications and bridging the gap between business and technical groups
• Ability to work with cross functional teams in a matrixed organization and to facilitate knowledge transfer and translate complex technical issues into compelling business benefits
• Strong customer facing skills, ability to influence and motivate internal/externals teams and vendor partners
• Knowledge of MS Office and preferable knowledge of SAP
• Fluent in English
