About the role

At Medtronic you can begin a life-long career of exploration and innovation, while helping champion healthcare access and equity for all. You’ll lead with purpose, breaking down barriers to innovation in a more connected, compassionate world.

A Day in the Life

At Medtronic, making global healthcare better is our priority. Beyond our mission to alleviate pain, restore health, and extend lives, we partner to create seamless, more efficient care.

You will be a senior member of the technology and product development team within the Acute Care Monitoring (ACM) Business Unit, McGRATH Franchise. Specifically, you will join a high-growth R&D team focused on creating category-redefining products that truly address unmet customer needs in the airway management domain. Our team originated from Medtronic’s acquisition of Aircraft Medical, which designed the McGrath Mac Video Laryngoscope. The team is design-led and follows a human-centered design process to deliver thoughtful and inspiring products.

Even within a large organization like Medtronic, the team aims to maintain its startup mentality. You will work in a cooperative workspace with key, cross-functional partners. Every day, you’ll be collaborating with other designers, design researchers, clinical scientists, marketers, engineers from multiple disciplines, and manufacturing experts, all with a “can do, will do” spirit.

We are eager to add new members who can bring fresh ideas and new skill sets. Particularly, we are looking for people who have the instinct and enthusiasm for disruption.
