Field Technician (US - Remote)

We are seeking a highly motivated Field Technician to serve as a dedicated expert for our customers in the glass and steel industry. The Field Technician will be responsible for performing digital endoscopy inspections onsite, utilizing our sensor products. This involves using PaneraTech portable laser scans around furnaces, operating them in high-temperature environments. As a Field Technician, you will play a crucial role in data collection and analysis, ensuring the efficiency, accuracy, and safety of our customers' critical assets. This remote position will be based in the US, with global travel required to visit customer sites worldwide. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to maintaining the integrity and optimal performance of industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities

As a Field Technician at PaneraTech, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting digital endoscopy inspections and onsite data collection using our sensor products, including experience in 3D laser scan surveys.
• Performing digital endoscopy inspections to assess the condition of critical assets in high-temperature and harsh environments.
• Observing, abiding by, and enforcing the company's Health & Safety policies to ensure a safe work environment.
• Presenting a professional image to customers in all forms of communication, building and maintaining strong working relationships.
• Timely reporting to leadership on project progress or delays.
• Ensuring timely completion of site tasks and activities, documenting inspections and repairs.
• Performing routine maintenance on sensor equipment and ensuring its proper functioning.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you should have the following skills and qualifications:

• Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide excellent service to clients.
• Ability to work in hot conditions and meet the sensory demands of the job.
• Adaptability to a variety of industrial work environments and the ability to solve problems quickly.
• Willingness to travel worldwide for extended periods (75%+ global travel required), demonstrating comfort with a travel-intensive lifestyle.
• Experience in 3D laser scan surveys, mechanical aptitude, and familiarity with high-temperature and harsh environments would be highly preferred.

Travel

This is a remote position that will require 75%+ travel to our customers worldwide.
