StampTech Fasteners TM Division Description:
The ITW StampTech Fastener TM Division serves the major OEMs and Tier suppliers in the North American automotive market. The division supplies stamped metal fasteners and engineered fastener assemblies that leverage our deep-draw stamping technologies. The annual revenue for the division is approximately $160M. Locations include Gallatin, TN, Lexington, KY & Naugatuck, CT.

Job Description
The production control coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day activity as it relates to ordering, scheduling, communicating order status, order expediting and overall work in process coordination.
Primary Key Responsibilities
- Counts and orders raw material daily
- Responsible for cycle counts of raw material and raw pressed parts (R-8, and P-8)
- Creates and manages work orders
- Reviews productions data for work overruns and issues new work orders
- Reviews open work orders and closes jobs as needed
- Weekly scheduling for 20 production cells and heat treat
- Monitors schedule daily and adjust if needed
- Maintains and files shipper certifications
- Conducts Layered Process Audits as required
- Maintains internal and external component inventory for assembly
- Conducts and/or participates in meetings to receive and provide current information on production processing projects and activities when needed.
- Work with Customer Service as well as sales in satisfying customer demands
- Responsible for voiding or correcting WIP label inaccuracies.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associates degree in Business or related field preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in a small to medium sized manufacturing production control environment
- Applicable experience with inventory control and quality management/TS
- Strategic and critical thinking, organizational and communication skills
- Experience in Automotive industry preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact effectively with team members, managers, co-workers, and customers
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Computer proficiency; MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Must have excellent people skills and experience dealing directly with customers as well as outside vendors
