Department Overview

Rakuten Car App is a smart phone native app which has many functions that Rakuten Car provides on Web and Rakuten point acquisition function by driving function and gas station checking in function.

Leisure Product Development Department(LPD) is in charge of lifestyle and leisure related services, then Auto Eco Service Development section has many teams which develop and maintain the Rakuten Car.

You will be involved in service development, operation and maintenance as a product manager of the Rakuten Car App backend service.

As a product manager of Rakuten Car App frontend, you contribute to the growth of Rakuten Car App through the creating service strategy and requirement definition with the product manager of backend service, business unit member and UI designer, and the product development with dev team.

You can hone the skill as a product manager or trying management as a next career as the career path.

　

Position Details

As Product Manager of the mobile app, you will take on the following roles and join the team. We expect you to work as a tech lead for the team in the future.

- Requirement definition for the new function development and improvement

- Management for service maintenance

- Quality management for the function development and improvement

- Project management for the function development and improvement

- KPI analysis and reporting

　

Work Environment

You will work in the team of 7 members located in Tokyo and Osaka office.

The communication ability is important for the teamwork.

　

Mandatory Qualifications:

- Experiences of negotiations with other company or other department

- Experiences of the requirement definition and PRD creation

- Experiences of product management, release management and operation about smart phone apps

- Basic knowledge of the smart phone app technology (iOS, Android)

- Basic knowledge of the server side application (API, backend)

- Experience of project management

　

Desired Qualifications:

- Knowledge and experiences of Scrum

- Experience of smart phone native app development (iOS, Android) as an engineer

- Experience of outsourcing development management
