Responsibilities

As a Backend Software Engineer on the TikTok Privacy Product team, you will:

•Design, build, and maintain systems that enhance privacy across the TikTok;

•Work with engineering and product teams to ensure that TikTok is compliant with privacy laws and regulations from a technical perspective;

•Lead large and cross function projects. Can work in parallel with other engineers and stakeholders and reassemble into a cohesive launch. Work is tactical and strategic.

•Impacts software architecture, dependencies, performance, and business value.

•Respond to privacy incidents, if they occur, including collecting information on scope and root cause as well as managing remediation.
