As a Security Officer Badge Access Driver in Sulphur, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as a driving access control professional at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, and support security-related operations with strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, control rooms, gates, and other designated locations.
• Screen visitors, vendors, deliveries, and/or vehicles in accordance with site requirements, maintain required logs and reports, and communicate security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including directing individuals according to post orders and documenting observed activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, gate areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual conditions, support access control operations, and report security-related issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Candidates must have 1+ years of law enforcement experience or 2+ years of security-related supervisor or manager experience or 3+ years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
