As the Assistant Vice President of the Reporting Group, you are responsible for leading the day-to-day operational aspects of preparing and submitting accurate and timely reports to regulatory authorities. This role involves gathering, analyzing, and validating financial data, staying updated with changing requirements, and implementing processes to ensure compliance. The role demands strong analytical skills, attention to detail, proficiency with financial software, and an in-depth understanding of regulatory requirements. Effective communication and organizational skills are also essential for managing deadlines, The position will have a high level of visibility within the organization with opportunities to work directly on a regular basis with Management and will also interact very closely with other groups throughout Deutsche Bank.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver moderately complex regulatory reports to regulatory agencies in line with expectations on completeness, accuracy, and timeliness

  •  Executes control practices, including compliance with all regulatory and policy requirements, including data quality standards

  • Document key risks, performance indicators, desktop procedures, controls and metrics related to reporting, and executes quality assurance, quality control, and report production tasks for regulatory reports

  • Supports the response to regulatory agencies and internal control partners on inquiries and reporting breaches

  • Participates in the representation of the reporting function to control partners (e.g., Audit and Compliance)

  • Contributes to the partnerships with key stakeholders, including upstream process owners, data providers, and Non-Financial Regulatory Reporting Interpretation and Technology teams

Skills You’ll Need

  • Strong knowledge of financial markets, banking industry, and financial instruments

  • Strong technical and data analytical skills (i.e., Excel, and other similar applications) with experience in analyzing, managing, and reporting from large sets of structured data (e.g., books and records data)

  • Effective communication in both oral and written formats to tailor messages appropriately to audience

  • Able to produce accurate work output and reports under tight deadlines

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (or equivalent)

Expectations

It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Jacksonville, FL office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Jacksonville, FL is $63,000.00 to $90,300.00. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
