Job Description

As a (Senior) Technical Product Manager, you will work on complex problems that deliver renewable energy solutions right at the spearhead: in the systems integration workstream, from qualifying and managing international suppliers, to the integration, to building E2E Tests for all our system versions.

In our IoT team, you will:

• Manage suppliers: the IoT sits at the heart of our system, integrating all kinds of producing and consuming hardware. You will manage our range of suppliers, new hardware launches, day-to-day operations and communication channels. 
• Drive innovation and own the roadmap: the energy market is regulated and constantly evolving, so you will be developing or qualifying new solutions around our IoT, like the Smart Meter Gateway Roll-out. With your knowledge, you try to foresee the future and drive our integration projects with the right speed and priority. You shape the roadmap in a strong partnership with the other workstreams in IoT. 
• Grow and learn: are you familiar with IoT devices or have experience with any other hardware? We'd love to learn from your knowledge. Are you behind in firmware image builds or regression testing? We'll make sure you grow through our knowledge. 
• Work on architecture and vision: we are fusing old and new technologies. Therefore, we analyze new requirements critically. We evaluate which moving parts would have to change and explore opportunities to solve organization-spanning challenges with elegant architectural solutions. 
• Steer for empathy and understanding: we create solutions that truly comprehend market needs by continuously addressing underlying challenges. Ask critical questions and listen to operations, craftspeople, sales, and suppliers! There are many stakeholders and users to get input from, and balancing their needs leads to the best solutions. 

Qualifications

We are looking for roughly a 50% fit with what we ask. The other 50% surprises us. It is the magic you bring to the table and the diversity with which you make us grow. 

• A master's of science degree in a technical field, preferably power electronics, electrics, software or hardware engineering.
• You have worked around hardware products in the energy field, and experience with IoT is a big plus. 
• You have at least three years of working experience in a mid-sized or large industrial company. 
• You have strong stakeholder management skills, both internal and external, on an international playing field.
• You communicate clearly in English, spoken and written — crisp and concise ways of formulating your ideas and opinions. Knowledge of German is a plus.
