We value diversity, inclusion and sustainability as we strive to make a positive impact on the world.&nbsp; Our development programs help support your growth, shaping your future and pushing the boundaries of innovation to unleash potential.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p></div><p>ASM is recruiting a<strong>&nbsp;Process Engineer</strong>&nbsp;for our Global Key Product Unit in Tama, Japan.</p> <p>The successful candidate will be part of the PEALD Process Development team, responsible for technological innovations and the development of new processes for semiconductor fabrication.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Design experiments, collect data, analyze results, and compile reports on various process development experiments.</li> <li>Perform hardware characterization, define process window, and analyze process-hardware interaction.</li> <li>Troubleshoot complex problems, perform Root Cause Analysis, and resolve difficult process engineering issues.</li> <li>Generate internal and external documentation, including product documentation, presentations, and technical reports.</li> <li>Interact with customers to resolve challenging process engineering issues with limited supervision.</li> <li>Promote team building and provide technical and theoretical communication leadership.</li> <li> <div>Approximately <strong>20–30% business travel</strong> throughout the year to support projects and customers internationally, including locations such as <strong>the United States, Taiwan, and Korea</strong></div> </li> <li> <div>Travel may include&nbsp;<strong>extended international assignments</strong>, with the <strong>longest continuous assignment lasting up to three months</strong></div> </li> <li> <div>Role requires&nbsp;<strong>on‑site and hands‑on work in a cleanroom environment</strong></div> </li> <li> <div>Comfortable working in accordance with&nbsp;<strong>cleanroom safety, quality, and contamination control protocols</strong>, including wearing required protective equipment</div> </li> </ul> <p><stron
