Job Description
The objective of this position is to be a point of contact for all Sales Area reporting questions and support. This position will be responsible for the following reports and all related processes and activities for the Bosch Thermotechnology North America organization:
Responsibilities Include:
- Prepare/develop financial analysis, insight and interpretation of results and be able to communicate findings in executive summaries.
- Complete assigned reports accurately and on time.
- Be proficient in data mining and correlate multiple data points to identify, synthesize and recommend business decisions and direction.
- Identify and execute process improvement opportunities, including automating existing reports and stream-lining processes to increase efficiency.
- Support Sales Planning process, margin planning and reviews with business unit and management team.
- Conduct Sales/ Margin/ ad hoc analysis, analyze and provide recommendations regarding potential risks and opportunities to the business.
- Assist with presentations to support management.
- Use system and financial expertise to drive continuous improvement within the controlling group.
- Support annual business planning and forecasting process.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Data Analytics
- 2+ years of professional work experience
- 2+ years of Excel experience (pivot tables, V-lookups, Sum-if, IF Statement, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strongly prefer SAP and automation software experience (Alteryx, Automation Anywhere, PowerBI, etc.)
- Demonstrated knowledge of financial analysis and accounting procedures and knowledge of how other departments impact the company's financials.
- Experience working with Canadian sales organizations a plus.
- Hyperion Financial Management & Business Warehouse knowledge a plus.
- Ability to understand/solve complex issues, summarize and provide accurate advice required.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills (both written and oral).
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- High level of curiosity with ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Self-motivation, proactive and resourcefulness with the ability to apply a high level of attention to detail and accuracy while balancing strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
