The GM will work closely with experienced managers to gain expertise in operations, customer service, and team management. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for career growth in a fast-paced and rewarding environment. If hired you will be compensated at $24.00 per hour  Once Jersey Mike's Phase I & III training certification has been completed, the Hourly wage will be $27 per hour. The certification process is between four to six months depending on candidate's prior experience.

Key Responsibilities:


Assist in overseeing daily store operations to ensure efficiency and exceptional service.
Participate in staff training programs to enhance team skills and performance.
Supervise and support team members while fostering a positive, collaborative workplace.
Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process to build a strong team.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe environment.
Collaborate with management to implement strategies for improving customer satisfaction and operational success.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high service standards.


Qualifications and Skills:


Strong background in hospitality management with a focus on customer service excellence.
Experience as a general manager a with minimum of two years in Restaurants / quick-service is required
Knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen operations.
Proficiency in using POS systems
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills to effectively train, motivate, and supervise staff.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.


Requirements:


Must be able to work a full 40 -hour week.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have 2 year minimum managing a quick service restaurant
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure store environment.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to set priorities with minimal supervision.
Willingness to provide feedback, opinions, and recommendations to support the store and its team.
Must have open availability.
Must have own vehicle and car insurance
