Allied Wire & Cable (AWC), a GCG Company, is currently hiring a 2nd Shift Warehouse Cut & Strip Associate to join our growing team in Collegeville, PA! In this role, you will be responsible for operating machines to cut and strip wire/cable, performing quality control and inspections, and assisting with general warehouse duties as needed.

What You'll Do

• Review order tickets and set up machines using iPads according to ticket specifications
• Operate multiple machines to cut pieces of cable per order instructions
• Conduct inspections of product using rules, calipers, and micrometers
• Use computers to complete paperwork
• Cut samples of wire to check for damages and send to customers
• Operate pallet jacks to relocate inventory
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed

 

What You'll Bring

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required
• Attention to detail and ability to handle small wires and components
• Ability to multi-task
• Basic math and computer skills 
• Must be able to regularly stand, walk, bend and lift 50lbs
