Buckeystown Veterinary Hospital has been voted "Best of Frederick for over 16 years!Buckeystown Veterinary Hospital is seeking to hire a part-time kennel Technician.
As a Kennel Technician, you must have a strong attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and be very reliable. Weekends, evenings, nights, and holidays are a requirement. You must be kind and accepting of all sizes, ages, and breeds of dogs and cats. Knowledge of animal behaviors is a plus!
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Cleaning/Spraying down runs
- Facilitate Playtimes
- Feed/ Medicate pets
- Work with rescue groups
- Set up new arrivals
- Laundering used bedding and blankets
- Work as part of a team.
Requirements
JOB TYPE: Part Time 15-20 hrs per week
SHIFT & SCHEDULE: 8 hour shirt, 10 hour shift, Weekends, Holidays, Evening and day.
QUALIFICATIONS: High school or equivalent, 1 year experience in animal care.
