Senior Accountant

  Specialty Dental Brands (SDB) is a leading dental service organization focused on partnering  with the best doctors with a proven track record of patient care and community involvement. We  provide proven operational support, technology, and overall practice management across a  nation-wide network of leading class pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, and oral surgery  platforms. Responsibilities:  

1. Supervise and train staff accountants to drive timely and accurate monthly reporting  

2. Prepare and review monthly account reconciliations and journal entries  

3. Partner with Office Managers and Operation Teams to resolve any issues  

4. Partner with business partners across the organization to manage integration of new clinics  

5. Identify opportunities and lead initiatives for process improvement to drive positive change  

6. Ensure compliance with US GAAP  

7. Work with external auditors and provide support for annual audit  

8. Perform other ad-hoc projects as required  

Requirements

  Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines? Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.  3+ years of experience in public accounting or industry  CPA or CPA candidate preferred  Strong knowledge of US GAAP  Demonstrated proficiency in MS Excel (intermediate to advanced)  Excellent organizational and communication skills  Desire to work in a high-growth, start-up environment
